Love & Protect

This work emerged from a collaboration with a colleague who is a climate change expert and professional photographer. One of her photos resonated with her. Asimo was fascinated by how polar bears were affected by human encroachment on their habitat. In this canvas, the artist expressed both the love and vulnerability of these two powerful beings in a constantly changing world. With the ocean surrounding them, these polar bears are in constant danger—they cling to each other to survive this climate disaster. The work was unveiled on Earth Day, April 22, 2022.
